GentleMAX®: A multiple wavelength workstation combining the GentleLASE® and GentleYAG®

Our GentleMAX® System combines two of aesthetic laser medicine's leading devices, GentleLASE® and GentleYAG®, and is one of the most versatile and effective aesthetic lasers on the market today. The GentleMAX® is the ideal hair removal laser because it can uniquely remove unwanted body hair on all skin types as well as tanned skin without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. In addition to inducing permanent hair reduction, our GentleMAX® system may also be used to safely and effectively treat the following skin conditions:

• Beard Bumps-Pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB)
• Wrinkles and Fine Lines
• Leg & Facial Veins
• Vascular Lesions
• Sun Spots/Age Spots
• Freckles
• Skin Laxity (or looseness)

  The GentleMAX® is one of the safest aesthetic laser devices available. The GentleMAX® produces laser energy which is then transformed into heat, which destroys the target (e.g. hair) without damaging the surrounding tissue. In the context of laser hair removal, GentleMAX® selectivity helps to protect the skin while effectively removing the unwanted hair.

  The skin is further protected during treatment by a Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™) which sprays cryogen onto the skin, cooling the upper layers to maximize client safety and comfort.

 GentleLASE®

The Candela GentleLASE® 755 nm alexandrite laser is the work horse of all laser hair removal systems. It is Candela's premier hair removal laser and can induce permanent hair reduction quickly, comfortably and effectively. In addition to hair removal the GentleLASE® is capable of treating pigmented lesions, age/sun spots, wrinkles, and some vascular lesions such as the venous lake. It is best suited for clients with fair skin, including those with Fitzpatrick skin types I through III.

GentleYAG®

The Candela GentleYAG® 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser safely and effectively treats a wide variety of cosmetic skin problems and is the laser of choice for clients with dark or tanned skin, including Fitzpatrick type IV through VI. Our GentleYAG® laser technology is known for its ability to provide permanent hair reduction as well as treatment for facial and leg veins, photofacials, and skin tightening.
