How many treatments will be necessary?

Removing sun spots or pigmented lesions is similar to tattoo removal. Usually 1-3 laser treatments are sufficient to entirely remove the pigment. Cafe au lait birthmarks, however, typically require more frequent sessions.

What can I expect after my treatment?

The treated areas temporarily darken after treatment. Over the next 7 to 10 days the treated skin will slough off leaving new unblemished skin. It is important to sunblock these areas during the entire treatment time. Upon request, Laser Enhanced Therapies would be happy to provide references of previously treated patients.
